Val's extensive experience in the financial industry gives her a keen attention to detail combined with strong communication and client relationship skills. In her current role, she effectively closes out projects through DSA by working closely with architects, inspectors, contractors, attorneys, and district staff. She has successful working relationships with DSA staff and intimate knowledge of all DSA closeout requirements. Working with both K-12 and community college districts, she understands the complexities of state-funded school projects and has or is currently closing out hundreds of projects for El Camino Community College District, Pasadena Unified School District, and Pomona Unified School District.
